It is these efforts that lead to us receiving the ISO 9001-2015 Award for an excellent quality management system. Strict quality control is exercised at every stage of operations. Right from the unloading stage of the procured goods to the processing stage to bagging the cargo and pre-shipment analysis. The complete process is carried out under the strict vigil of scrupulous quality control done by experienced professionals. Further, we ensure that the highest level of hygiene is maintained at all stages of processing and modern packaging methods are applied to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and impeccable quality of service by us.

Quality Check Process

EXTENSIVE RESEARCH

To provide the best, we have our teams stationed at all processing stations always ready to check the grain and quality. This is done by checking the average length of the uncooked grain, followed by measuring the average length of the cooked grain. We make sure all the parameters of the highest quality are met.

QUALITY REPORTS

A detailed report is made immediately to make sure the parameters demanded by our customers are matched after the testing and our quality team confirms the same. The cargo is then packed and loaded in containers.

Our Reports are based on the following:

LENGTH BEFORE COOKING

The average length is measured before cooking depending on what kind of basmati or non basmati cargo has been finalized by the buyer since the endeavor is to provide the best always, checking the length is of utmost importance.

LENGTH AFTER COOKING

By cooking the sample of the cargo we get a better idea of the length which is again measured by our quality team and if we are satisfied with it, the cargo is approved. After cooking, especially in basmati varieties we check the level of elongation (some basmati varieties elongate to double the length of uncooked grain) along with texture and pleasant smell.

KETT

Most of the customers prefer a particular type of shade/color of rice, some prefer a darker shade which appears more creamy, while others prefer a white tone. Depending on the demand we make sure of the color which is gauged by our quality team using the kett machine.

MOISTURE

This plays an important role as the cooking depends a lot on the moisture content of the grain. The moisture should not exceed more than 11-12% in basmati rice and it should not exceed more than 13%-14% in non basmati rice. Our quality team keeps a check on this using the moisture meter machines. If the moisture content is not satisfactory, we instantly reject the cargo for export from India.

OTHER CONDITIONS

Our quality team also checks the overall appearance of the cargo. If the overall cargo doesn’t match as per the parameters contracted with the buyer, it is instantly rejected.
