NON BASMATI
HMagri is efficiently integrated in rice operations from the point of origin to international trade.
In fact, Basmati rice is only 1% of the total rice grain grown in India. However, there is some rice grown in Indian that is shaped and looks just like Basmati – Sharbati rice and Suganda rice. Besides these, there is PR11 and PR14 varieties that are of 7MM length. There are also types of non Basmati rice that are 6MM in length and below – these would be IR36, IR64, IR 8, PR 47, Sona, Masuri, etc. All these non-Basmati categories of rice can be processed for making parboiled, steamed and raw rice.
We export Basmati & non-Basmati rice from Indian ports including Kandla and Mundra in Gujarat, Nhava Sheva in Maharashtra, Krishnapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, Kolkata in West Bengal and various ICDs in India.
